ZTE’s President of Mobile Devices Ni Fei attended the Zhuhai airshow. He took the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Aerospace Edition along to photograph the aerobatic performances – this is the first time that this device has been mentioned officially.
This is clearly a sequel to the Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition, which packed an impressive 18GB of RAM and 1TB storage. The exterior was mostly the same, save for a couple of labels that marked it as a special edition (“18G/1TB” and “Taikonaut”).
The ZTE Axon 40 Ultra Aerospace Edition should follow the same formula, except using the new Axon 40 Ultra as a base. That model tops out at 16GB of RAM and 1TB storage, so an extra two gigs of RAM are in order.
Above are some camera samples from the phone. There should be nothing unexpected here as the camera is the same as the original ultra – a triple 64MP setup of wide, ultra wide and telephoto. The photos have been downscaled, anyway.
